What is an English Conservatory?
Conservatories have been an object of desire since the early 17th century, when they enjoyed great popularity amongst the English aristocracy. Originally they were called Orangeries, because they were frequently used to grow oranges and other exotic fruit non indigenous to Great Britain's shores. Today, they remain a stylish and functional addition to any property. They capture England's proud architectural history and old world charm and never more so than when it's a Conservatory supplied by The English Conservatory Company.

What is the difference between a Conservatory and an average sunroom?
Style and quality. The English Conservatory Company utilizes authentic English Conservatory styles compared to the typical American porch enclosure or sunroom. Our structure, windows and craftsmanship are also superior; creating a true all-season room that is comfortable, functional and can enhance your lifestyle during any season. All these rooms are manufactured in the USA, using materials extruded and molded at the factory in England.

Opal Heatguard Polycarbonate is specially made for us in North America. It is 1" thick for better insulation and composed of 5 layers for strength and durability.
